Fr Angus trained for ordination at Wescott House, in Cambridge, and served his  curacy at All Saints, Hove. Along with his wife Jess, who is also a priest in the diocese, and their young family they have very much enjoyed making Chichester their home and exploring the Sussex countryside and local history, bird-spotting, and swimming in the sea.

Before turning to priesthood Fr Angus had a career in finance, ran the family music business in Sweden, taught in a secondary school in Hampshire and lived in Bognor Regis working in social care with adults with learning disabilities. Alongside his training for ordination, Fr Angus also completed doctoral research in the field of classical metaphysics, focusing on questions of wonder, childhood, and human relationships.
